The Gatimaan Express is India’s first semi-high-speed train, launched in 2016 and capable of running at up to 160 km/h. It covers the roughly 188 km between Delhi (Hazrat Nizamuddin) and Agra Cantt in approximately 100 minutes — making it the fastest way to reach Agra by rail, and considerably quicker than the standard 3-hour road journey most Golden Triangle day tours use.
