Golden Triangle Tour with Jodhpur & Udaipur

Discover India’s most iconic circuit on this 10-day Delhi Agra Jaipur Jodhpur Udaipur tour, covering five cities across North India and Rajasthan in a single, seamlessly connected journey. Begin in Delhi, where the contrast between the old walled city and the modern capital unfolds across a single day — from the rickshaw lanes of Chandni Chowk to the wide avenues of New Delhi. Continue to Agra, home to the Taj Mahal, with an added evening visit to the Baby Taj and Mehtab Bagh for a riverside sunset view of the monument before your sunrise visit the next morning.

From Agra, the tour moves into Rajasthan, starting with Jaipur, the Pink City, where Rajput heritage comes alive across its forts, palaces, and bazaars. The route then continues to Jodhpur, the Sun City, known for its imposing hilltop fort and blue-painted old town, before concluding in Udaipur, the City of Lakes, where palaces sit directly on the water. The tour wraps up with a flight from Udaipur back to Delhi, keeping the final leg quick and convenient.

This itinerary is built for travelers who want the full Golden Triangle plus core Rajasthan in a compact 10 days — with private transfers, a live guide in every city, and a pace that balances sightseeing with rest.

Full Tour Itinerary

Meet your representative on arrival and transfer directly to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Pickup at 9 AM. Old Delhi covers Jama Masjid (built 1656), a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, and an outside view of Red Fort (built 1648, UNESCO-listed since 2007). New Delhi covers Humayun’s Tomb (1570, UNESCO since 1993), India Gate, Parliament House, Qutub Minar (73m, begun 1193), and Lotus Temple. Lunch break mid-tour. Return to hotel, overnight in Delhi.

Check out around 9 AM and drive to Agra. Check in, then use the afternoon to rest before an evening visit to Itimad-ud-Daulah – known as the “Baby Taj,” built 1628 and often cited as a design precursor to the Taj Mahal’s marble inlay work – followed by Mehtab Bagh, a riverside garden directly across the Yamuna from the Taj Mahal, best for photographing the monument at sunset without entering the complex. Overnight in Agra.

Pickup at 6:30 AM for the Taj Mahal at sunrise, when light is softest and queues are shortest. Return for breakfast, then check out and visit Agra Fort (red sandstone, construction started 1565 under Akbar). En route to Jaipur, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s capital city built in 1571 and abandoned within roughly 15 years due to water shortage, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive Jaipur, overnight.

From 9 AM: Amber Fort (built 1592, part of the UNESCO-listed Hill Forts of Rajasthan), Jal Mahal (viewed from the lakeside, not entered), Hawa Mahal (1799, 953 windows), City Palace, Jantar Mantar (1734 astronomical observatory), and Monkey Temple (Galtaji), a temple complex known for its resident rhesus macaques and natural spring-fed tanks. Overnight in Jaipur.

Check out at 10 AM and drive to Jodhpur. Arrive, check in, and use the remainder of the day at leisure — this is the longest driving day of the tour, so no sightseeing is scheduled. Overnight in Jodhpur.

From 9 AM: Mehrangarh Fort (built 1459 by Rao Jodha, sited 125m above the city), Jaswant Thada (marble cenotaph, built 1899), Umaid Bhawan Palace (built 1928–1943, still partly a royal residence), Sardar Government Museum, Mandore Gardens, a walk through the Blue City’s old quarter, and the Clock Tower market area. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Check out at 9 AM and drive to Udaipur, stopping en route at Ranakpur Jain Temple (built 1437), noted for 1,444 carved marble pillars, no two identical. Arrive Udaipur, check in, overnight.

Visit Jagdish Temple, City Palace, and take a boat ride on Lake Pichola (an artificial lake dating to 1362) with views of Jag Mandir and the Taj Lake Palace (now a heritage hotel, not entered on this tour). Continue to Fateh Sagar Lake, Saheliyon ki Bari, and Bagore ki Haveli. Overnight in Udaipur.

Check out after breakfast and transfer to Udaipur Airport for your flight to Delhi or onward connection. Tour concludes on arrival in Delhi.
