The Golden Triangle gets you to Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. This package keeps going. The Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur & Pushkar Tour is a 7-day, 6-night road trip that pushes further into Rajasthan than the standard circuit — from the Pink City of Jaipur to the sun-bleached blue rooftops of Jodhpur, and finally to Pushkar, the small lakeside town built around the world’s only major temple to Lord Brahma.

The whole route is covered by private car, so there’s no flight to book and no train schedule to work around — just one continuous drive through some of North India’s most photogenic cities, with a guide waiting for you at every stop. It’s a good fit for travelers who’ve already read about the Golden Triangle and want to see what’s just beyond it.

Highlights of Trip

  • A full 7-day loop through five distinct cities — Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Pushkar — entirely by private car
  • Old and New Delhi in one day: Jama Masjid, a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, the Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Parliament House, Qutub Minar, and the Lotus Temple
  • Sunset over the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh, and a visit to the delicately carved Itimad-ud-Daulah (“Baby Taj”)
  • A sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and a stop at the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri en route to Jaipur
  • Jaipur’s full sightseeing list: Amber Fort with an elephant ride, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Patrika Gate
  • Jodhpur, the “Sun City” and “Blue City” — Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Sardar Museum, and Umaid Bhawan Palace
  • Two nights in Pushkar, home to the world’s only major Brahma Temple, the sacred Pushkar Lake, and a camel cart ride through town
  • A single continuous overland journey — no flights or trains required to complete the circuit

Full Tour Itinerary

Pick-up is around 9:00 AM from your hotel in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida, or from the airport. The day begins in Old Delhi — Jama Masjid, a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, and the Red Fort — followed by a lunch break. New Delhi comes next: Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, the Parliament House, Qutub Minar, and the Lotus Temple. You’ll return to your Delhi hotel for the night.

Overnight stay: Delhi

After breakfast and a 9:00 AM check-out, drive to Agra (roughly 3 hours). Once you’ve checked in and rested, the evening covers Itimad-ud-Daulah (the “Baby Taj”) and Mehtab Bagh, the sunset-point garden across the Yamuna River from the Taj Mahal.

Overnight stay: Agra

Your driver and guide will collect you around 6:30 AM (earlier in summer) for a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. Back at the hotel, freshen up, have breakfast, and check out before visiting Agra Fort. From there, drive on to Jaipur, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri along the way. Check in to your Jaipur hotel on arrival.

Overnight stay: Jaipur

After breakfast and a 9:00 AM check-out, spend the morning exploring Jaipur: Amber Fort (with an elephant ride up to the entrance), Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal — both viewed from outside, as neither allows public entry — followed by the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Patrika Gate. After lunch, drive on to Jodhpur, checking in to your hotel on arrival.

Overnight stay: Jodhpur

Post breakfast and check-out, explore Jodhpur’s landmarks: Jaswant Thada Memorial, the imposing hilltop Mehrangarh Fort, the Sardar Museum, and Umaid Bhawan Palace. After a lunch break, continue the roughly 4-hour drive to Pushkar. Check in to your hotel on arrival.

Overnight stay: Pushkar

After breakfast and check-out from your first Pushkar stay (or a relaxed morning if staying on), spend the day exploring the town: the world’s only major Brahma Temple, the Savitri Temple, the sacred Pushkar Lake, and Pushkar’s old traditional market. Return to your hotel for a relaxed evening.

Overnight stay: Pushkar

After breakfast and check-out, begin the long drive back to Delhi — roughly 6 hours. On arrival, you’ll be dropped at your hotel or the airport, bringing your Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Jodhpur-Pushkar tour to a close.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can cancel this tour up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.

Yes. You can reserve your dates ahead of time and select “pay on arrival” as your payment option.

You can pay via PayPal, credit card, or cash on arrival.

You’ll specify your preferred pick-up point at the time of booking. Pick-up and drop-off are available at Delhi Airport and any hotel in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, or nearby areas.

Pushkar is a small town best explored at a slower pace — the Brahma Temple, the ghats around Pushkar Lake, and the old market are easy to cover, but two nights give you room to actually sit by the lake in the evening rather than rushing through in a single afternoon.

You can select 3-Star or 5-Star hotel accommodation, or opt for the tour without hotel bookings if you’re arranging your own stays.

Yes — this itinerary is built for exactly that. It keeps the Delhi-Agra-Jaipur sequence but extends the journey into Jodhpur and Pushkar, giving you two cities that most short Golden Triangle trips skip entirely.

No — both are viewed from outside only, as public entry isn’t permitted at either site. They remain worthwhile photo stops on the Jaipur sightseeing route.
